Maybe post in the Behmor section. Behmor users can see it. The SHOUTBOX post will be hidden in a few days.

Jyoungs3, you should start a post about it. The shoutbox entries will scroll away in time.

time to join- upstate NY

Hi- home roaster for maybe 8 or so years- after destroying several electric poppers and 2 cheap air roasters, I've stuck with various stovetop popcorn things- they were fine for , I calculate, a few hundred pounds over the years. I am stopping up my equipment game and have my eye on a real roaster.(Hint: made in England by a South African who also likes motorcycles-as I do too) I'm at the point where I need some questions answered, so I've decided to join.

I have a quickmill Vetrano and a Fiorenza (sp?) grinder; I roast solely for my own use and only drink espresso (3-4 doubles/day)-unless I'm on the road- in which case any liquid with caffeine will work- as a drug delivery system!

Just introducing here- I'll start the questions in the appropriate sub-forum- in the meantime...Hi.

Welcome! I'm a newbie here too... and it seems less experienced in the roasting game than you are. I've been at it for maybe 3 years or so now, and only on my second popper. ThumbsUp

Welcome from a fellow upstate newbie near Rochester, NY. :-)
Good luck on your research for a new roasting machine.
