Maybe post in the Behmor section. Behmor users can see it. The SHOUTBOX post will be hidden in a few days.

Jyoungs3, you should start a post about it. The shoutbox entries will scroll away in time.

Hello from Upstate NY
johnX
I'm not roasting yet...
My brother has been home roasting for 20+ years and I think I'll be roasting soon too.
Looking to stay small and simple.
Coffee consumption: Drip machine, pour-over and Espresso.
I bought a Niche Zero grinder last December and it re-kick started my coffee bug. Grin
Regards,
John

I am in no hurry, so I might wait and see how the Kelvin roaster turns out.

Welcome John!

Best to take your time and study some of the builds here.

Interesting, the Fresh Roast SR800 with 8 ounce capacity is now out and hopefully I'll see some reviews of it!

Couldn't wait, ordered an SR-800. Grin

Well then, hope to see one of those reviews from you soon! Welcome to the forum! How do you like the Niche? Seems like the Hoff kickstarted a trend there, they're popular now!

The Niche Zero grinder has been great so far. I adjust the grind up & down, and have great repeatability. Some of the coffee we drink need super fine grinding to a very coarse grind (espresso, drip machine, pour over wave, Walkure and french press).

Roasted my first 6 ounces of Sumatra decafe beans and I am very pleased with the results and with the Fresh Roast SR800
