Eth Nat Yirg Idido roasted yesterday. I dropped some off at a friends coffee shop. In a few days he will brew it and tell me what he thinks. We believe my roasts are better than what we buy.

They seem to be after the shoutbox. They have been removed. I don't see anything in the forums.

Not enough heat without a mod, popcorn pops at 180C, while coffee need 230 at least.
They are usually used as beans agitator base, with a halogen lid from a turbo oven as main heat source, lid raised on a stainless steel ring.

For an economical solution, check out Whirley-Pop since you likely already have a stove as a heat source. Otherwise, Renatoa's solution is a popular one and you will find many examples right here on homeroasters.org.

Life's too short to drink bad coffee.

I'm actually building a roaster right now, I just saw this at target and was wondering for doing really small batches

Unfortunately it won't do. You need higher temperatures. Heating the coffee to 180 degrees won't be enough to get it even close to drinkable.
