Air Roster from Sweet Marias
Ozo
When I retired about 15 years ago I needed hobbies and one was coffee. I tried every brewing method from pour over to siphon to espresso. Then I discovered Home Roasting when I saw a mention of Sweet Marias. I first bought an air roaster from them, an Iroast2 I believe. I do remember that it was very very LOUD. When I moved to a drill assisted whirley pop style I sold the air roaster on Ebay. That story is kind of funny. I did not want to make a profit but wanted it to go to someone starting out so I sold it for a very small amount practically giving it away. The buyer inspected his new roaster thoroughly and found a small defect but nothing critical but called me on it. I wanted to retain my 100% Positive Feedback rating so offered him a pound of Yemen beans which meant he got the machine for free. The funny part was his response to my offer. He said , and I remember his exact words, " O, ok, if you do that I will give you positive feedback" I had to laugh.Grin
