what's the best circulation?
Hi guys i want to do a 1KG FB roaster, like the original Sivetz project.

what's circulation do you prefer?

You mean which window, or what ?
Aren't both showing the same circulation ?

Assuming batch size equal on both and both at same point in development. I've found best results in Sivetz roasters when spouting action is "just enough".

1/2 lb and 1 lb drum, Siemens Sirocco fluidbed, presspot, chemex, cajun biggin brewer from the backwoods of Louisiana
I think just enough is always the best answer. Better bean to bean conduction, less heat blown out of the stack.
