I wanted to introduce myself to everyone. I'm Josh and I started roasting my own coffee about two months ago. I've I originally started with a modified Poppaire I that I found at an estate sale. I made it through about 7 pounds of beans before the brush holder assembly on the motor shattered and left me high and dry.

A few weeks ago I decided I wanted a more robust setup with a way to monitor my roasts. I went with a heatgun/flour sifter setup and a mastech ms6514 that sends my roasts temps to Artisan. You can see it here. https://imgur.com... I'm still working out the kinks with this setup but I'm looking forward to it!
Welcome Josh!

A popper is a great way to start learning. You now have a nice looking new setup. Please start a post on it if you have questions or just to talk about it.

KKTO Roaster.
Thanks Jack! I'll be sure to do that!
