I wanted to introduce myself to everyone. I'm Josh and I started roasting my own coffee about two months ago. I've I originally started with a modified Poppaire I that I found at an estate sale. I made it through about 7 pounds of beans before the brush holder assembly on the motor shattered and left me high and dry.

A few weeks ago I decided I wanted a more robust setup with a way to monitor my roasts. I went with a heatgun/flour sifter setup and a mastech ms6514 that sends my roasts temps to Artisan. You can see it here. I'm still working out the kinks with this setup but I'm looking forward to it!
Welcome Josh!

A popper is a great way to start learning. You now have a nice looking new setup. Please start a post on it if you have questions or just to talk about it.

KKTO Roaster.
Thanks Jack! I'll be sure to do that!
