Eth Nat Yirg Idido roasted yesterday. I dropped some off at a friends coffee shop. In a few days he will brew it and tell me what he thinks. We believe my roasts are better than what we buy.

They seem to be after the shoutbox. They have been removed. I don't see anything in the forums.

Syngas Heated Coffee Roaster Experiment
coffeeroastersclub
A few years ago I was pretty involved with wood gasification experiments. At one point I attempted to roast coffee beans with syngas generated from a wood gasifier I made. The end result was unfortunately not that good, mostly from the fact that I was attempting an open air roaster. Furthermore I had some mechical difficulties with a motor system I was using with the rather cumbersome open air drum setup I was using. But some of the techniques I used were pretty neat and possibly can be developed more by others that are interested in the techniques. Following is a rather lengthy video I made of such for anyones enjoyment/critique:

Darn. I forgot to put a subject. Could a moderator please put: "Syngas Heated Coffee Roaster Experiment" for the subject line?

Thanks,
Len

This sounds interesting. However, I don't see a video link.
