1 lb roasted lasts a week. I can taste the flavor increase to peak, then drop after. Still very good, but interesting to follow the wave of flavor rise and fall.

I seem to have lost any roasting touch I thought I had. Very frustrated to be wasting time and money. I’m hoping someone can provide some insight on roasting at high altitude. I’m at 4400ft. Thank

Inexpensive dual-channel data logger for Artisan on eBay now
Cheekius Geekus
This is not my auction, so I hope this is allowed... just thought others might be interested.

According to this old Artisan page one of the Dual Channel Temperature Meters compatible with Artisan is the Mastech MS6514. One benefit of that unit seems to be that it has a built-in USB to serial converter.

I hope that current versions of Artisan are still compatible with that temperature data logger, because a seller on ebay has complete kits (New) available for $44.54 http://www.ebay.c...1911569443 (shipped from Hong Kong). Even if you choose to use different (K-Type) probes, this is a pretty great deal (IMHO).

If anything I've said here needs correcting, feel free to correct!
