North TJ-066 Roaster Ordered.
I broke down and ordered the 500 gram sample roaster from Mill City yesterday. The plan is for it just to be used as my home roaster. I am toying with the idea of getting a few people to roast for since I'd only run it once a week if it was just for coffee for myself. I'll try to post some updates as I get ready to switch from my Behmor to the ultimate (imho) personal roaster.

I will have to get gas to the roaster, and It seems it needs 220 volts for fans & controls, I already do have an outside vent and roaster bench, so that shouldn't change much. Should be a fun journey.
WOW Ben, how cool. I may simply have to get one now.

cannot wait for pictures of your setup!

BBQ grill
I can't wait to see my setup also. Since Mill City is about 6 hrs from here I'm am going to visit and play with the roasters about the time mine is arriving.
how fortunate you live so close; will be fun to play around and learn about your beast before it arrives.

I am jealous! This is one gorgeous roaster. Talk about the kid in the candy store!

Be sure to post lots of photos and roasting results while setting up and during break in and beyond.

1/2 lb and 1 lb drum, Siemens Sirocco fluidbed, presspot, chemex, cajun biggin brewer from the backwoods of Louisiana
Army Coffee
You are going to love it! Comes with a Step Up Transformer that works great! I am running Propane on my TJ-072 and love the flexibility if I decide to "Roast on the Road"
