Eth Nat Yirg Idido roasted yesterday. I dropped some off at a friends coffee shop. In a few days he will brew it and tell me what he thinks. We believe my roasts are better than what we buy.

Cutest Little Vesuviana Machine

Found this today at an antique mall (yeah, I normally don't "do" antique malls, but here we are).

Anyway, was hoping maybe someone would have some info on this little espresso pot, sans cord...

That is an electric element version on a stovetop espresso maker

Don't use it before it's been checked to be electrically safe
I have used similar ones and you need lots of practice to get the coffee just right but when mastered they are great little units

Should be some YouTube videos about on best way to use them

Thanks kk...I was wondering if the standard "waffle maker" cord might work on this to test it with?

ETA: I will crack it open to make sure the heating element isn't broken and possibly shorting out against the housing anywhere before plugging it in. I guess I could check for continuity between each contact and the housing to, eh?

Just wondering if it has a tamper in the items ?
If not you will need one

No, it doesn't, but I could either make one, or I may have something that is a close fit...

That could be the perfect project to break in my mini metal lathe with, lol! ThumbsUp

I like the final handle design you decided on best..the beehive design gives it a vintage flair ;) the resin will hold up best in the long run, especially on the PF handles...really like the tamper stand with the encapsulated beans! ThumbsUp
