Eth Nat Yirg Idido roasted yesterday. I dropped some off at a friends coffee shop. In a few days he will brew it and tell me what he thinks. We believe my roasts are better than what we buy.

Koffee Kosmos - Easy Microfoam Method
Koffee Kosmo
If you are struggling to get good micro-foam out of your espresso machine then it's time you looked closely at your method

I have spent a couple of months developing and testing this method and has had popular support from users

Hope you have as much success in your microfoam journey as I have in the pleasure in making it available to all

HOW TO STEAM MILK THE KOFFEE KOSMO WAY
Great & easy Method for creating great micro-foam

This micro-foam method is repeatable
It is Particularly suited for machines with ample available steam with 2 to 4 steam hole tips
However users with all machine types have reported great success

Method
Stretching milk from a 1 to 4 hole steam tip

There is a technique to using 4 hole steam tip however with less steam holes the time is a little longer
So please follow these easy steps and allow time for your type of steam tip if you have less than 4 steam top holes

So here it is

Purge water from steam wand
Use a loose hand not stiff on the jug or place the milk jug directly on the drain grate
At first use 400 ml jug and fill with cold milk to just under the lower part of pour spout
Place wand just under milk in the middle of jug at 90 deg (no angle) and only give it air in the first second no more and then just keep wand under the surface for the duration
Important - On all machines - turn on steam knob to "full steam strength”
Allow steam to do the work and when milk starts to foam keep wand at 90 deg but move jug to one side until the steam wand hits the side of jug
You will also hear the sound pitch change as well to guide you as to when to move the jug to the side
This all happens in about 10 to 15seconds and before you know it you have micro-foam

This easy method is for high steam power machines with multiple steam holes in the wand but please allow extra time for machines with less steam capacity and less steam tip holes

I have received good feedback of great results from users of smaller espresso machines

When you get the hang of it you can progress to larger milk jugs
Once mastered small changes can be made to suit your machine

Happy Micro-foaming
