Has anyone used a Leister hot air blower to roast coffee and if so, which model did you use? What was your experience like?

Hottop controller install
jinx
Wanna see where/how I stuffed the TC4C controller into the Hottop?
I put a few images here:
http://sprintvelo...ing-device

Its hung from the ceiling, as it made sense to me for open space there. I used aluminum flashing and swapped out the bolts for the solenoid for longer ones.

I got to roasting last night, first time using the Roast Logger software. I did 2 batches of 250 grams each. I used my Staco Variac, to ramp the incoming voltage to 121v.
The chart certainly helps to visualize everything. I wasn't doing too shabby without the software, but I now can tell that repeat ability, with minor tweaks, will lead to predictable results. If only the best result was predictable!
Im hitting first c between 10-11 mins, finishing at 14-15. I'm working on making that development time smoother.

I really like this solution and may utilize it in about 2 weeks when I do my install.
If there's room though, I might put the thermocouple connectors facing the back and USB facing down. Otherwise, I guess you need to connect the thermocouples before installing the board. Right?

What size sheet do I need? I don't have the board yet to measure.

Also, can I buy the flashing somewhere like Homedepot?

I'm gonna look in the basement and see if I have a proper scrap.
