Eth Nat Yirg Idido roasted yesterday. I dropped some off at a friends coffee shop. In a few days he will brew it and tell me what he thinks. We believe my roasts are better than what we buy.

They seem to be after the shoutbox. They have been removed. I don't see anything in the forums.

New Forum Announcement!

Attention!

HRO has launched a new forum titled “Electric and Gas Heat Sources” and its purpose is to give us a place to discuss the electric or gas apparatuses we use to produce the heat in our roasters and how best to design, install and get the most out of them.

Examples: Nichrome coil winding onto a ceramic former, suitable housings for nichrome elements, formulas for figuring watt density, ceramic infrared heating elements and how to utilize them. How I used this or that electric element in my build. Gas burner design tips, torch burners, ceramic infrared burners, figuring orifice sizes for a given BTU output, means of controlling my gas burner using solenoids, motorized gas valves, proportional solenoid valves, interface driver boards for powering my gas burner valve etc...

Our hopes are that this will give you a specific place to post and find information relating to your roaster heat sources and not intended to be a running list of heating related parts suppliers. For finding suppliers for this as well as many other roaster building related parts see:
