Anyone tried the Sidamo Bonko wet process from Sweet Marias? What do you think of it?

I didn't have the Bonko but ordered the Wet Process Uraga Layo late last year and pulled some great SO shots with it.

It's delicious and amazing...lots of sweet citrus and great body. Best of three wet sidama beans I've got right now.

I've only done one roast of it so far. Didn't take any notes and can only report not being thrilled.

But I am a novice with very rudimentary equipment and knowledge, an unrefined palate, and a preference for roasts darker than those usually recommended for the variety.

And 99% of the drip coffee I drink, I add a bit of milk to after the first few sips!

Yirgacheffes have yielded the most consistently pleasing results over the past 12 months of roasts. Pretty broad statement, but there it is.
