Hi! Looking for a legacy inlet temp sensor on 13 yr old Gene Cafe. It seems they've changed it and now you need new mother board and new sensor. Any ideas where I can find compatibile old one? Mark

Brewster, holy cow! Fantastically simple and elegant and effective! I was surprised how clear the cracks are to hear. I also really appreciate the angled tines to slosh the beans left and right as well as round and round.

I've seen the exact grill at Lowe's, but the proper scale didn't come into perspective until I saw you load the drum.

Superb!

That is truly a cool roaster. I might be tempted away from Poppery roasting now that voyeurism has come to drum.

And thanks for the smallparts.com link. Lots of great things there for evil mad scientists like me.

IA, what a great line. "Voyeurism has come to the drum". I love it! I guess I am now a "Peeping Roaster". If I may, I would like to use your line in my sig!

Thank you guys for the kind comments!

Congratulations on a great design Brewster
There is a lot to like about your roaster

It amazes me how the human mind can think out of the box
All we want to do is roast a small green bean and we have invented over 100 ways to do it ;)

Hi,

I'm from Brasil, and build, as a hobby, drum's coffee roaster.
After some internet digging, I found homehoaster's forum and the TC4 build made from collaborative work originate here. Already readied most of topics related, and some interesting tips about roasting coffee.
In BRASIL, we have a yet small internet community about coffee (clubedocafe.net), and is always good to read from more sources, and exchange ideas.

Below, a link for my second prototype (I'm already in the fourth).
