Behmor Not Disappointing
The Behmor has been cranking out roast after roast of delicious coffee. My previous was a Guatemalan Hue Hue that was out of this world. Very bright, fruity, and soooo good.

Tonight is a pound of El Salvador Finca La Provencia I'm splitting in half to roast different profiles. I didnt find too much on the roasting profile, and went first with a light/medium on it.

Came out very nice looking, and I can't wait to taste it.
LOTS of chaff on this bean!

I'm finding that for bright coffee, the Behmor is excellent.

Second profile, went longer and came out darker:

Very nice aroma, very evenly roasted. Drooling...

Nice looking roast! I knew you'd love the Behmor. There's something about IR roasting that has the ability to draw out subtle flavor notes that other modes of heat application can sometimes miss. Of course, sometimes can be the other way round.

I'm glad I've got one and have the ability to switch back and forth between gas heated drum and IR to compare cup quality. There's always a subtle difference between the two.

Keep the roasting critiques coming!

I just ordered one to take the place of a failing SR500. Glad to hear that you've had good results. I'm looking forward to relearning the art of home roasting.
