Sorry Ken, I deleted your shout by mistake. Lots of shoutbox spam attacks lately.

My local roaster just bought a 1954 International Harvester van to use for selling/delivering coffee and stuff.
I can't wait to see it. It was supposed to arrive from Illinois yesterday.

You probably mean the panel truck version, right? We had one when I was a child. Surely you don't mean the weird and rare Fageol van?

I really like the 'Truck' business model. State regs vary quite a bit for food trucks, which is giving rise to the next evolution of that biz....
The truck 'pad'. Check out 'Mothership'

In New York State, a food truck must be affiliated with a 'real' kitchen. This 'pad' concept offers a cost effective way of meeting that regulation, by renting in to the pad.

...and the truck craze keeps rolling! -Scott

Dan,
Yes the panel van. I saw a picture, but haven't seen the van. I will see it next week.
Fageol van looks cool, too.

Oh, that's a step van, much like the current Metroliners. What I'm talking about is the smaller panel truck for deliveries and contractors.
